Sometimes, the generosity in this provice is amazing. We had the great fortune on October 25th to meet Edmund Dawson of the Investors Group in Bay Roberts.
Edmund invited us out to a roast the host dinner he was hosting for his clients, in support of Epilepsy Newfoundland and Labrador. Not only did we get to enjoy the delicious meal, laugh along while clients merrily roasted their host, but ENL President Ron Stone gratefully accepted a donation from Edmund and all the guests present in the amount of $2450.
As if that wasn't enough, the next day, he also offered to mail out the charitable receipts for us to anyone who donated at the dinner so that we might save the money we would spend on postage. Only someone who is truly in tune with the community would think of something like that. So thank you to Edmund Dawson of the Investors Group Bay Roberts and all his community minded clients. You are the reason we can keep serving the thousands of people in this province every day.
